Stressful & very timely getting approved
I found it stressful as my "paw print" apparently still wasn't green after almost 4 months after 1st acquiring insurance. I was asked MULTIPLE times to send records which had already been sent every time it was requested. My dog was very sick and we did expensive diagnostic testing to help with diagnosis and I was unsure if Trupanion was going to cover any. After many phone calls he was finally approved, I was grateful, but having insurance certainly did not reduce my stress like advertised, if anything it was more stressful wondering if Trupanion would come through for us.

Always an exceptional experience.
Have always had a clear understanding of the insurance policy for our Oliver and have had nothing but excellent experiences dealing with Trupanion. Explanation of claims is first rate as is the length of time that it takes to receive a cheque from initiation of the claim. Keep up the good work!

Kitty Cat Tail in the Door
My cat got his tail caught in an interior door'? caused a longitudinal laceration mid-tail. I was in tears!! Took him to the vet, paid out-of-pocket and the vet office sent my claim to Trupanion. Almost an immediate response along with an email hoping that my cat was doing ok. Very prompt and caring'? I highly recommend Trupanion insurance!

Trupanion really cares!
Thankfully, I didn't need to use Trupanion much over the 9 years I had my senior Westie. But the few times I did, Trupanion's customer service was gold standard! I was always treated respectfully & felt that the care representative really cared about what was happening with Chris, my dog. At the end of Chris' life, I incurred a large bill. Trupanion's claim process for this was simple & expedient. I felt cared for when having to do business while grieving. I can't say enough positive things about Trupanion & will continue to recommend them to fellow pet owners!
