Because I've had such a wonderful experience using Trupanion. You actually pay on claims. Every customer service rep is lovely. I tell everyone to get Trupanion. It feels like an honest company. The pet insurance I had for my dog, Buster, who's no longer with us, was a very shady company. Trupanion is the polar opposite.

Our claim was accepted at the cash register when paying for medication for our 10 year old Border Terrier. It was a seamless procedure for us, as customers...the discount came into effect immediately once the vet receptionist filled out the form online. My co-worker raves about our pet insurance, but I had to become a client to believe how wonderful the coverage and services are.
My co-worker is the ultimate dog-lover and has had pet insurance since the day she started. She has always said how good the coverage is and how easy it is to submit claims, etc., but I just nodded my head and said 'cool'. I am so glad she did so. When we got our sweet Jodi the first thing I did was sign-up for Nationwide pet insurance. Best decision of the year. Thank you.

Overall it was a good experience
My German Shepherd, Abby, was relatively healthy for most of her life. We had incidents here and there, but when we needed to submit a claim not once in 12 years did we have any issues with the company response. What stands out to me the most is how they surprised me when they told me to submit a claim for euthanization and cremation when I called them to close Abby's account. I did not expect that and it was a gracious act at a hard time.

Pretty great and affordable insurance
Healthy Paws is a great pet insurance for its affordable rates and timely claims reimbursements. The app is easy to use and upload vet bills. My little Zoey had ectopic ureter surgery recently and Healthy Paws helped me pay down this pricey surgery. Thank you Healthy Paws!
