Very supportive, easy, and caring process
We are very thankful to be apart of your customer base. Having the peace of mind that our dogs health and safety was the only thing we had to worry about was exactly what we needed when he suffered ANNPE. Simple File Claim System
We have had this policy for our Golden Retriever since she was a puppy. Whenever we have had to file a claim for Vet services the process is quick and simple. We have received payment from Nationwide in a very timely fashion. They have the easiest system to use, and if and when we have to call with questions, they always help us through the process. I've told all my friends and family about this pet policy, and I personally will always insure all of our pets in the future.

You sent me a check in a realistic timely manner.
When you pay for any insurance it should be there when you need it without hassles. Your service was there for me and my dog and that matters. I was pleased with the reimbursement and I will convey that to my friends and family. One of our two cats had a tumor which really shocked us. The vet recommended surgery and we agreed it was for the best. The claim process with ASPCA was so easy. I wish my car and home insurance worked this well. We've been able to get our cat the care he needs and not have to worry about whether or not we can afford it.

The reimbursement takes FOREVER
You have to pay upfront and get your money back after the claim. However, the claim takes the company about a week to even review the claim even though I provided the recipe. Then after that I waited another two weeks to get the check in the mail. And the other option of getting direct deposit is not easy. You have to create another account for a bank I don’t have and then it gets transferred there then transfer that to your account. It’s definitely not easy. I appreciate that Pet insurance exists because it’s helpful for you and your pet, but I think they should of updated their system to make it easier and faster by now.

Slow payment
Filed claim and then had to get all previous records to show not a preexisting condition. Notified it would be paid and saw copy of check in email but still have not seen actual check
