Best pet insurance ever!
I am SO thankful we bought the most comprehensive coverage for our little girl. She has been through a lot lately, as have we, and NationWide Insurance has made our loves so much easier. Thank you!

I'm thankful for Nationwide Pet Insurance, It has been great for us!
After taking care of an elderly dog that we had since a puppy...we spent a lot of money and time to try and help him. We, then, welcomed a new puppy into our home. I decided to look into pet insurance and see what was covered in the event of an emergency. I always thought that whatever could happen to one of my animals...just wouldn't be covered...so I looked further into it and did the math...I have been pleasantly surprised and thankful I decided to give pet insurance a try. We are even reimbursed for wellness items and preventative care.

Thank goodness for Nationwide Pet Insurance.
My girl had to have a growth removed. My insurance paid the majority of the bill, and a partial on all of her follow ups. Submitting the claims thru my VitusVet app could not be any easier.

During the pandemic we had to take Magee to a specialist and have an eye removed unfortunately after all that was done and currently still on medication he’s doing great nationwide was there for us and covered 90% of our expenses and without that Magee could possibly have passed away because he may not of been able to afford all of the surgery I took place I recommended nationwide to several friends in fact several have signed up and really appreciate the security that’s there with nationwide

What exactly does Trupanion cover?
I bought my senior dog pet insurance through Trupanion knowing that his arthritis and allergies wouldn't be covered, because I didn't want to make major end-of-life decisions based on my budget. Two years and $1,500 of insurance later, and he has a suspected spinal stroke or disc rupture. A MRI costs almost $5k. This is the exact scenario I bought the insurance for...and Trupanion refuses to cover it based on the preexisting condition of arthritis. Now, I'm not a doctor but I do know that arthritis and a spinal injury are NOT the same thing. Over 2 years, they've covered some vet visits, but I've never actually made it past any of the deductibles. Their agents are friendly and they process claims sort of quickly, but that's not very helpful when they don't actually cover anything.

So worth it!
I couldn’t be more happy I got Nationwide pet insurance - my pet protection and wellness. It has been amazing for my Great Dane, who has a hefty bill anytime she goes to see the vet. My only complaint is I didn’t get it sooner! They cover everything, as long as it isn’t pre-existing, and make the cost of owning an animal so much more affordable. Their online app with claim filing makes the process so easy and straightforward. Reimbursement is quick and easy.

Best thing we did for our senior dog
Getting Nationwide's Pet Insurance is one of the best things we did for our senior dog, wish we had done it sooner! 9 months after getting the insurance our poor pup had a major injury which required several surgery's. Nationwide was easy to submit claims to and very fast on payment. I told my husband, I bet they will cancel us next year because we have been so costly to them...but no, we were not cancelled and our premium did not go up anymore than it would have without any injuries! We highly recommend Nationwide! Thank you for helping us take care of our furry family member!

Quick, easy, comparable progeam
I’m pleased to have this coverage for my dog. I’ve just moved and had to find a new vet in a new state. The coverage program offered by the new vet’s office is similar, but wouldn’t go with me if I had to move again. Reimbursement is quick, communication updates Regarding status as my claim moves through the system are appreciated.
