Fast professional compassionate response by call center when I contacted them before going to a 24 hr vet hospital on a holiday weekend when my dog had a serious urgent medical problem.
Fast, professional, compassionate response by call center when I contacted them before going to a 24 hr vet hospital on a holiday weekend when my dog had a serious urgent medical problem. Never made a claim before and they explained everything I needed to know about coverage. Helped me stay focused on the medical problem. Highly recommended

Don’t waste your money
It’s not the process but rather the coverage. At $90 a month and after paying for almost almost 5 years without a single claim, you don’t cover an appointment related to a lump? I will never recommend. I doubt you will ever pay a claim. What a rip off. Feel free to contact me however I doubt this will even be read or whether anyone even cares to hear this feedback.

Lucy Klein - bad claim experience
My claim was denied and I’m in the appeal process with my vet because they tried to tell me that the condition was pre-existing. My vet said there’s no way what I treated your dog for is pre-existing. This is why I cancel pet insurance years ago because I paid premium and constantly had to fight to get anything paid

Our lab.
Our lab. Mix had a large cancerous tumor in his liver. Our regular vet couldn’t do the surgery and recommended the University of Wisconsin up in Madison. They did the surgery and he is now cancer free. We feel very blessed because we love him very much. We are really thankful for Trupanion paying for much of the required surgery. When friends buy a new puppy we encourage the to get truepanion right away.
