There was a mistake on Trupanion’s part as to reimbursement. Trupanion looked into it and re-calculated the reimbursement in no time. No harsh words, just hard work. I appreciate how quickly Trupanion processes reimbursement requests.

I'm so grateful we purchased this insurance when our dog was just a young pup. He's been a wonderful dog, but has suffered from innumerable health problems--I can't imagine how we would have managed without the financial assistance provided through Trupanion insurance. I believe the company's system for assessing and approving claims is both fair and sympathetic toward pet owners.

Feel the reimbursement policies are unfair. I've paid about 16K in policy money and gotten about 6K of my procedures for my pets reimbursed. I would have been better off putting it in a savings account.

In a high stress and emotional experience Trupanion did not add to that stress. The call was quick and gave me the answers I needed within minutes to make healthcare decisions about my cat. Without Trupanion, he would not be here today as their coverage allowed us to get him the care he needed and took away the stress of having to make life or death decisions based on cost. We are so grateful.
