This insurance was a pleasure to deal with, so much better than human insurance companies!
Like all pet owners I got this insurance hoping to never need it. When my 15 month old dog got pneumonia, I was amazed at how charges add up to get him well. After dealing with my own health insurance, I thought it was going to be a fight to get claims paid. I was so wrong. The claim was easy to submit. I had a questions and called, first I wasn't put on hold longer than three minutes and second the agent the helped me couldn't have been any nicer. Before answering my questions she wanted to know how my dog was doing. That clearly shows they are more than a business. My claim was reviewed and I had money deposited in my account in days not weeks or months. So very happy I choose them for pet insurance. I will recommend them highly to everyone I talk to.

Your best friend deserves the best insurance
OK, I'm not a big believer in insurance, but when Yumi came into my life 12 years ago I felt I had to get something. I looked around a bit and finally chose Trupanion. She was a puppy then, with no health issues, and yeah, those monthly premiums weren't cheap, but I soon forgot about them. Yumi was diagnosed with a heart murmur a few years ago, then I started having to give her medications twice a day, and she developed a persistent cough from retained liquid. I would have done anything to make her better, but on September 9th 2021 my bestest friend in all the world passed away. Well that's my story. Through all the years Trupanion was by our side. And with them by our side I knew that whatever her vet recommended, Trupanion would be there to help. And they've only gotten better since the early days. Making claims is so easy - snap a picture of the invoice with your phone and submit it. That's it. Super fast - like 1 or 2 days - turnaround. Direct deposit of reimbursements. 90% reimbursement rate, at least for my policy. Never had to fight with them over what was covered or anything. I have NEVER regretted my decision to go with Trupanion. I just wish I still needed it.

Dont get a pet without it
We love Trupanion. I recommend them to everyone. No longer worry if your pet should be sick or injured and not being able to afford it. They have been a huge helo managing our elderly dogs Cushings. And all our dogs and cats through the years.

I actively recommend trupanion to friends and family whenever I know someone acquiring a new dog or cat. I am an ER vet and hate to see decisions of care made because of cost, and I have seen your company follow through many times. My only hesitation is that some of the pre-existing condition decisions can be frustrating (in personal experience pneumonia as a complication of a complication of a pre-existing condition felt a bit harsh) but particularly for a new healthy pet I do not know of a better/more reliable company out there!

Trupanion is the best!
Trupanion is the best! I don’t know what I would do without the coverage I get from them. I have never once had a problem with claims and when I do have to call everyone there is so nice and helpful, I feel like they care about my animals as much as I do. my older dog (Dexter) has had many health problems his whole life and if I didn’t have coverage with trupanion I never could have afforded all the surgeries. thank you so much Trupanion!
