When we brought our new family member home, it was important to us that we planned for her health. ASPCA health insurance gave us peace of mind. For a small about each month we know that our puppy, Cara will have all the medical coverage she needs. We also added on the preventative care and with $150 in bills, ASPCA covered $141. The phone app makes submitting a claim painless. We received our reimbursement in 2 weeks. I'm sure that most people don't consider pet insurance a must, until their family member is sick.

LOVE this insurance policy!
We spent significant time looking at various plans and doing comparisons. In the end, we went with Embrace. SO happy we did. We included the Wellness Care option with or Plan and were skeptical about how long it might take to get reimbursed for covered Wellness Care expenses, but our worries were unfounded. We get reimbursed (via automatic deposit directly into our bank account!) quickly and get to use a quality Vet of our choice - PERFECT! We are VERY happy with our plan and enjoy knowing the simple things are covered (grooming, annual visits, etc.) and that we will not be blind-sided should the unexpected happens.

Nationwide Pet Insurance did what it said it would do for me.
I had VPI insurance for my dog for years and was happy. So when I got two new dogs, I got Nationwide and am very happy with them. I have not filed a claim in the 5 years I have had them until now. I was pleased at the explanation of benefits and Nationwide covered what they said they would. I will continue to tell others that it is worth it, even if just for the piece of mind and security. I never understand the criticisms of pet insurance and the not paying on a claim? You get a puppy from health tested parents, you feed them a species appropriate diet, use titers where appropriate, and you should have few problems. When you do have an illness, or an injury, pet insurance is there to take the sting out of it. That feeling of not worrying about if you should take your dog to the vet because of the cost, frees you up to focus on your pet and their care.

Our little Champ rarely ever gets sick or has any issues, but when he stopped eating and started vomiting, we took him in immediately. He had contracted a stomach virus that required him to be hospitalized for treatment and fluids for several days. From our history with other pets that are insured through Nationwide, I felt confident in allowing Champ to receive the medical care that he needed to get him healthy again. He returned home from the vet completely recovered. We went from losing sleep from our worry, to being extremely relieved to see him come home and being back to normal. Nationwide provided a full reimbursement for the vet costs within just a week and a half of when I submitted the claim. It was yet another experience with Nationwide that makes us grateful for their coverage and gives us the confidence to ensure that our pets get the medical attention that they need, when they need it.

I have had a Embrace policy for the past nine years since we adopted our beautiful kitty when she was 8 weeks old ! My cat has to take meds each month and Embrace is quick to turn around my claims whenever I have to order medicine for her and they are very good at communicating the status of my claim all the way through their claim processing ! They are a excellent company to deal with and pride themselves on their customer relation skills which , in my mind , is very important to all of us pet owners ! I would highly recommend them for anyone thinking about purchasing pet insurance ! You will not be disappointed !!

I just want to say Thank you! Its such a comfort knowing that Nationwide is there to help with vet bills. At times you don't expect things to happen with pets but just like humans there are emergencies that are unplanned. I love Trupanion! Even without coverage for Wellness, this is the very best coverage out there. Quick repayments! I had a pet in previous years and didn’t have this company. I could not afford surgery to help him 😢 nothing was going to get in my of helping my next pet. Make sure to pick up a plan “ASAP” when you bring your pet home. That way there is no pre-existing Thank you Trupanion !
