I'm running on a tight budget as a young adult fresh out of college. Knowing that I can get some money back for my rescue's health care and not have to live off of cereal and pb&j's makes me much more confident about getting fantastic care at the best vet available. Obscene Monthly Premium Increase
We've insurance our standard poodle with Trupanion since the time she joined our home (Sept/06). Each year the montly premium would increase and we found the increase to be realistic, representing the economy and natural increase of costs. Last week, we receive the new monthly premium for the coming year and were astounded at the increase - from $140/m to $198/m. This is an outrageous amount and we have decided to sever our long term relationship as loyal customers with Trupanion. There is no consideration by the company of loyal customers; we are both disgusted and disappointed. We WILL NOT recommend this insurance company to anyone.

Responsive and quick
I signed up for Nationwide Pet Insurance through my employer. As a first time pet owner, it seemed a bit expensive but what I didn't realize is that pet bills are expensive. Pet insurance has saved me thousands of dollars because my pet has had some health issues throughout the past 6 months that she's been living under my roof. My coverage has been incredible and I get paid at a timely manner. Why can't human health insurance be this easy?!
