I am highly disappointed with the business practises of this insurance. They grossly miss represent the coverages and will not stand behind the mistakes. Even though I have not been able to use my insurance for anything that was clearly stated. I had a refusal of the refund on top of a very rude supervisor named Michelle. Now I get the fun of waiting 5 to 7 business days for a manager to get back to me. Avoid this insurance at all cost. It will only cost you more money at the end of the day and cause you more unnecessary stress if you were depending on this for financial assistance.

Great... so long as your dog is under 4-years-old.

I just got my renewal for my 5-year-old dog and the premium doubled from two years ago (40% last year and another 50% this year). I checked my original policy and found it is silent with regard to premium increases. Maybe if I was making claims, I'd have been happier with Fetch. I bought the policy to protect against a catastrophic event and never made a claim, so I have five years of premiums in the rearview mirror. If my dog turning 5-years-old can trigger this kind of increase, it seems the sky the limit on future increases as she gets older. Turns out the catastrophic event I needed protection from was Fetch premium increases. Grr.

Easy enrollment, reasonable rates

It was very easy to enroll through the link in my employer's benefits portal. Nationwide has been very responsive and helpful, and the rates and coverages available were priced reasonably with the employer discount.

Given two stars instead of just one…

Given two stars instead of just one star. Our newly adopted cat had an upper respiratory infection. Urgent Vet care took care of him and we submitted the claim. Waiting a few days and no response from MetLife Pet Ins. I called them. They had never received my claim. Resubmitted and they received it. Processing took a couple of days and there was missing information. SOAP - what was that? Spell things out for us! Turns out it's his pre adoption record. Sent that in. Processed the claim and notified it was approved. Now I wait for my refund. Crickets. Called them. Supposed to receive another email on how I want my refund. Just send me a check. I shouldn't have to go and create an account and give my banking information to receive my refund. I say beware of getting MetLife Pet Insurance if you have a pet. The amount of monthly payment and the total yearly amount they cover is not worth it. Yes, I'm glad we were given a "free" trial and we used it. But this ordeal we had to go through was not worth it. Just my humble thoughts.

Taking care of Lucy

Our Vet, Dr; Logas is great! She spends a lot of time making sure she knows all that is wrong before she starts treatment. A great Dr! And thatnks to Pets Best, we do not have to worry about a large bill !

Oscar 12 yr old Hav/Malt mix

Oscar is fortunately (so far) a fairly low maintenance pet, He's had a single luxating patella operation which was covered by Pet's Best and we were satisfied with the reimbursement.. Minor health issues also covered properly. No real issues except cost...Pet's Best was somehow awarded an almost 30% premium increase in NJ...but then again, it is New Jersey :(

Website was easy to understand

Website was easy to understand. Variety of choices to fit my budget. Hope this turns out to be a good choice. I have heard many horror stories about pet insurance when it's actually time to use it.

I really am glad that I got insurance…

I really am glad that I got insurance for my dog this time around. Hopefully she will stay healthy and strong for years to come and I won't need to use this unless absolutely necessary. You've saved me a lot of grief, I'm retired and money is tight. Thank you
