I purchased insurance for my new puppy through Nationwide as I wanted to try a new company. It all sounded great til I got my packet in the mail. The max coverage they pay the first year is a joke compared to my other company I use, FIGO. I canceled immediately and bought another policy through FIGO.

you have saved my pets more than once, if i didn't have the insurance i don't believe i would have been able to take care of them they way they deserve when i have taken them on. Have had several pet insurances before; but with Nationwide both HersheyKiss and Padawon have been cared for with our Vet without worrying about the expenses. I know at least 80% or more will be reimbursed.

Fabulous and Friendly
We began using Nationwide Pet Insurance when we got our first puppy Irish Wolfhound named Groot! We have been so impressed with Nationwide and their pet insurance and it has saved us quite a bit of financial strain when dealing with health issues. We will continue to utilize their insurance for our current and any new pets and I cannot recommend and thank them enough for working with us!

Nationwide has made my life stress and worry free during the 1st year of my puppy. After having to put down my last dog because I couldn’t afford emergency surgery, I knew I needed insurance. My new puppy has had the worst of luck making her first year difficult (and expensive) but because of her insurance I knew that she would be able to get the care she needed when she needed it. I always recommend nationwide to any pet owner I run into!

You guys are awesome! Yes, I may have to wait 30 days for reimbursement, but the check does come and surely makes things nice. I have been with VPI for 6+ years and have absolutely no problems. It can get a little costly when insuring three dogs, especially with the cost continually rising with their age; but it is well worth the cost.
