ASPCA has been an excellent investment, especially now that she is quite old.
I've had this insurance for my dog since she was a tiny puppy. She has been very healthy. Once she turned 10, the rates went up, and i decided to keep that more expensive policy going. She is now 14, and still healthy, but having quite a few allergy related problems, the costs of which are really adding up. The insurance is helping now considerably with the wellness and treatment costs, which make quite a difference. The insurance was a good investment.

Super easy to file claim, no bs, the money was in my account before the credit card bill even got here!
Couldn't believe I got reimbursed for every last dime (less the exam fee and my deductible) of the emergency vet bill for my cat's urinary blockage and 5 day hospital stay with no hassles, no games, no b.s. The money was in my account less than 2 weeks after I filed the initial claim. Now, how much my premium may go up next year, who knows? But I could not be any more satisfied than I am right now and would recommend Healthy Paws to anyone! The only things they don't cover is pre-existing conditions, routine and preventative vet care and vaccinations.

Good service but too expensive.
Good service, but too expensive. I don't like that I have to pay extra for an alternative care rider. Trupanion's representatives are always friendly and nice.

Have had Trupanion for 5 years
Have had Trupanion for 5 years with my dog Junior. I like the Simple claims process. Knowledgeable staff who answered my questions quickly and clearly. 90% of a accident or illness, no limits or restrictions on problem pets. Lots of reasons to recommend Trupanion. Mostly the simplicity of the program with no tiers or payment limits. :)

Insurance is simple and straightforward
Insurance is simple and straightforward, easy to submit claims. Always friendly when I call and I have a puppy that has needed emergency care and there is something to be said about having peace of mind when faced with a sick pet. We are so happy we chose trupamion! I've already recommended to friends with puppies!
