They been terrific for my baby for 14 years!
VPI/Nationwide have been terrific for my Pom for 14 years, and she’s had her share of troubles. There was a large jump in prices this year, way more than just due to an age increase, which almost priced me out. Also, make sure you insure from the time your dog is a puppy so you don’t have to deal with pre-existing condition exclusions.

They will find any excuse to not pay. Even if it means lying.
This company will use any excuse to collect your money and not help you. My dog has been hospitalized for bleeding anally and throwing up and they told me because she's thrown up before they can not cover any of the cost. She has never been to the vet for throwing up and even the vet doesn't understand why they aren't covering this. Highly recommend going with a different insurance company. I'm now stuck with a $3,000 bill because they are lying to get out of covering this.

Still waiting for a return call to explain exclusions
We have had tour company for years and were very happy with our last dog. I was sent a letter stating we had exclusions now. I called and the person said they had never seen this before and that she was off in a few minutes but set a call up for the next day and I never heard from anyone. We had our dogs dna done and he has no allergies but nationwide is excluding that and something with aggression. He is a rescue and we have spent thousands on training and he is a model dog but he had been beaten and is afraid of new people at first . After he knows you he is a lover. I am still needing an explanation please.
