HEALTH INSURER DOESNT PAY THE VET REALLY?
OMG! How dare a so called HEALTH INSURER not pay the doctor/ Veterinarian visit fee!! THe first thing you should do if you love your pet is run to your vet if your loved one is sick...Your child should go to the doctor. A company that discourages you from doing so cant possibly have your pets welfare in mind! Logical right? Many people struggle to pay health insurance premiums and dont have extra money to pay a vet. SO the pet doesnt go to the vet and Healthy Paws doesnt pay. GO FIGURE! Also Healthy Paws was sued on a class action basis. Once your pet has a PREEXISTING condition youre stuck. Healthy Paws raises rates...BOOM. If you love your pet...RUN AWAY DONT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY!!

Those exclusions are pre-existing conditions, preventative/routine care and the office visit fee (vet exam, emergency exam, recheck or consultation). Anyone visiting our website can see this information on our “Benefits, Coverage and Exclusions” page. By making the office visit fee (vet exam, emergency exam, recheck or consultation) part of the pet parent's financial responsibility, it allows us to offer a complete accident and illness plan.at an affordable monthly premium.

I have had Nationwide Ins since 2017 when I adopted my little girl. She has had many claims. They are prompt, helpful and so easy to deal with. It has been a great experience.

Furkin was great for my claim
My dog had an emergency which lead to several other tests to determine the underlying cause. Furkin was great, this was my first claim and I got the claim amount pretty quickly, I also had to reach out to customer support throughout for a couple things and they were super great. All in all, Iâm so grateful for their services, I donât know where I or my dog would be without them.

Did some reasearch and chose Furkin
We adopted our little kitty Cricket in February of last year and after doing some research decided to get pet insurance through Furkin "just incase". So glad we did!! In just over a year she has been diagnosed with asthma and then struvite urinary crystals. Both of those diagnosis came with lots of tests, vet visits, and treatments. Furkin processed all our claims very quickly and I'm happy we chose them as our insurance provider.
