Pet insurance saved our puppy
My 10 month old Great Dane puppy, Brutus, got very sick very suddenly. We suspected a blockage, but when all the conservative tests came up inconclusive we needed to go in and do an exploaratory surgery to find out what was going on. When there was nothing but inflammation, they took biopsies to send off to be analysed. They came back for IBD, and with probiotics and prescription food we are hoping to manage it. Without pet insurance, I would have had to make a hard decision as this was almost 6000$ to find the cause. If you don't have pet insurance, get it now!

My claim was processed
My claim was processed very quickly. I am very happy with how easy it was. While sitting in the vet s office, I had a conversation with two other pet owners who overheard my conversation with the receptionist (I had taken my cat in for a booster shot). I had been telling the receptionist that I had received a payment from Trupanion and was surprised at how easy and fast it was. The other two pet owners picked up Trupanion paperwork which the vet had in his waiting room. My neighbor also asked for the name of the pet insurance for a friend of hers.
