I'll never go without pet insurance!
VPI/Nationwide pet insurance is truly a Godsend. We have had their services on both our German Shepherd and black Lab for approximately 5 years now and while our Lab has been healthy (knock on wood), our Shepherd has not. Pet insurance has taken the financial stress off of us so all we have to worry about is getting our fur baby the medical help he needs when the need arises. Nearly every time he has had an injury/illness, Nationwide has been there to reimburse us the majority, if not all, of the cost of his treatment. I will never own another pet without insurance and tell all of my family and friends about Nationwide. I have also had at least four people sign their pets up after telling them about my experience. Thank you Nationwide for all that you do for our family!

Easy and dependable
I was very impressed with the ease of submitting my claim and also the payment. They were clear with me in regard to what/wasn't covered and very fair. I was skeptical in buying pet insurance but wanted to protect myself to some extent in case something happens. I think this insurance works as intended and I'm very happy with how they've addressed my claims so far.

Simply the best, most versatile coverage you can get for your pet.
I shopped around and when it came down to claims covered and cost, Nationwide is the best choice. My dog, Guinness has everything from wellness visits to prescriptions covered at 90% reimbursement. The claim process could not be easier. I use the cell phone app and within 30 days the reimbursement is deposited directly into my account. I have recommended Nationwide to several other pet owners. I am completely satisfied. Lastly, I would never want my pal to get sick but knowing I have such amazing coverage makes the thought easier to handle. Thank you!! Mike and Guinness

The best ever decision for my dog
My 5-year old female Pomeranian accidentally broke one of her front leg two months ago. At first I chose the most economical treatment option of putting a splint on her injured leg with a hope that it could heal itself. Unfortunately after taking a few radiographs the fracture was diagnosed a non-union one. My Vet recommended me to see an orthopedic specialty soon. The orthopedic Vet suggested a fracture repair surgery after reading her X-rays. I was speechless when I was quoted a surgery cost of $6k. “It’s so lucky that I bought a pet insurance from Healthy Paws last year”, a thought popped up on my mind when I was reading the written quote. My dog’s surgery was a success. She recovers very well. She now walks on a leash three times a day, 10 minutes each time. Her orthopedic Vet saw her last week and confirmed that her recovery progress was satisfactory. My girl is very lucky and blessed to have Healthy Paws financially back her up after this unexpected accident occurred. Heathy Paws makes claims simple and easy. Each time after I filled out a few columns online and uploaded my Vet bill, a check from Healthy Paws was delivered to me within a week, no unreasonable exclusions. Trupanion is there for me
I have been paying for my dog, Cooper s insurance since he was 7 and his brother passed of cancer. Now that he is 10 and has developed diabetes, Trupanion is there for me. Well worth the long term investment.
