My experience with Health Paws Pet Insurance has been excellent. My dog has had a serious Urinary Tract issue which required extensive testing and eventual surgery. Filing claims could not have been easier, and they respond quickly, keeping you informed as to where they are in processing your claim. They pay quickly. I highly recommend them.

Really good coverage.
Claim processing time varies. With one of my dogs it took 3 weeks for the annual wellness reimbursement. With the other it took 1 1/2 weeks to process. Don't understand the difference other than the time of year.

Claim Process Great But Increases Bad
The claim experience was very easy and Trupanion was very quick to send payment. This is very appreciative. What I don't like and would keep me from recommending insurance to others is the steep and steady increase in premiums. It is unsustainable.

Easy and straightforward
Very easy to submit claims. Email response was timely although I don't believe it provided an estimate of when the reimbursement check would be sent. That would add to the positive experience. Thanks!

Trupanion Is A Life Saver
My claim was handled very quickly. This is the case with every claim I file. My dog has had a chronic condition since he was 8 weeks old. I file at least one claim per month. Without Trupanion, I would not be able to afford the care he needs to keep this under control.
