Insurance that works the way it was intended.
My dog has struggled with chronic ear and skin infections from his underlying allergies. Nationwide has critical in helping to reduce the financial burden of these vet visits and treatment. Filing claims have been easy and have had no issues with reimbursement. Strongly recommended for every pet owner!

I have been with Nationwide for the life of my labrador retriever Aspen. They have helped defray the costs of all the incidents he's incurred, which seem to occur every year....LOL. Aspen survived a mass cell tumor diagnosis & has been cancer free for two years. He will turn 13 in October thanks to Nationwide's assistance.

All my friends have better insurance for their pets!
A few friends whose dogs had bilateral knee surgery ( one was ten months old). Their insurance covered 80%! Also, I was told Max’s rehab would be covered but you determined you had paid the total amount for the year.

Thank God for Nationwide Pet
I don't know what I would do without Nationwide Pet Insurance. My dog had a horrific fall on ice which ended with a torn cruciate ligament; in the process of getting it diagnosed, it was discovered that he also had a luxating patella. The diagnosis was made within the guidelines of my dog's policy and so 90% of the cost of his surgery was covered. It took a long time to gather the money to put up front, but I was able to pay back money I borrowed after a very quick reimbursement (I kid you not, it took less than three weeks from the time I turned in the claim until the money was in my bank account). I think some negative reviews come from claims that do not fall within the policy guidelines (or rules) and/or some people are choosing a lesser policy for their pet. I went all out and purchased the best plan and it has paid off. I have used the vet line as well, which has been very useful for those late night concerns when my vet isn't available. All-in-all, I am very satisfied as I still have my dog. Without insurance, I would have had to have him put down as it cost $4500 just for the surgery (that doesn't count the appointments and necessary diagnostics -- x-rays -- to find out what was going on with his leg). I am on disability and so I simply don't have that kind of money and no one would have lent me money without knowing my dog was insured because they knew they would not see that money again for quite some time. Thanks Nationwide Pet, because of you, I still have my dog!

I don’t know what I’d do without this pet insurance
Our little baby just turned 2 years old but has had sooooo many health problems. Without this insurance we would be hurting and he may have become too heavy a burden. But we are so happy with the insurance- claims are easy and paid quickly and they even check in on him to see how he is doing. I highly recommend nationwide pet insurance- we will never have another uninsured pet!

Think nationwide is a great insurance plan. It has helped us tremendously with our vet bills to care for a great, sweet dog but one that has had more problems than we expected.
