Wow. I am so blessed to have been referred to Nationwide Pet Insurance thru a friend. My new pup had an obstruction and the bills were enormous. Nationwide was amazing. Thank you for doing what you say you will!

Trupanion is there for Savanna
Savanna has many allergies and other things going on in her life, seems like we’re bringing her to the Vet almost every week, test for yeast infections, and other things, Trupanion has been there every time we submit an invoice, they are the best,,,,,we have recommended them to our friends and family

We are very pleased with Trupanion and their claim process.
When we first signed up with Trupanion we were a little skeptical about pet insurance. But after having it for a few months and going through the claim process, we are very pleased and glad we went with Trupanion. We would highly recommend purchasing pet insurance for those that love their pets.

Fast and easy claim process.. great
Easy and fast claim review. Recieved payment with in a couple weeks. Sure eased the pain of a large vet bill.

Easy Claim Filing and Rapid Payment
Unfortunately, Nitro has had several health problems over the last few months. It would have been very difficult for our family financially if we had not had Nationwide pet insurance. When done electronically (using the pre-filled out claim form on the Pet Insurance website and submitting claim as email attachment), claims filing is simple. Over the last couple of months, claims processing has been much quicker than previously. The only fly in the ointment is that there was a large premium increase this year. If there is a similar increase next year, we will have to reconsider keeping the policy. But at the currently, it has been a good value.

Not worth the premium
Had to submit the first couple claims several times before even getting a response. Pretty much everything is rejected. Very little covered. Paying way more in premiums than I am getting back in benefits.

Called eating cardboard a "pre-existing condition" and did not pay
My dog ate a frozen pizza cardboard, and it got lodged in her small intestine. Took her to ER and was charged a lot of money for all test run, and x-rays. Nationwide didn't pay a penny, said it was a preexisting condition. I called them, wrote them, and after six months of no news and "we'll let you know" and then receiving letters calling it not covered - I was stuck for the entire invoice myself. I was very upset and unhappy with their non-committal attitude, and my dog died a few months later. I know that she needed surgery, it was pay $6000 out of my own pocket or put her down. I can't help but feel Nationwide basically doomed her life. I wouldn't use them for a pet worm.

Nationwide is the best to cover your fur baby!
My baby recently got a bacteria virus which cause him to be hospitalized for 2 days and the charges just kept racking up. I called Nationwide to one let them know and how they wanted me to submit. The representative was so nice and kind as I was scared and unsure what the outcome e for my baby was going to be. She assured me not to worry to submit my claims all together as I was paying and they would take it from there. My claims were turned around so quickly without any issues. Anyone who asks me about pet insurance I praise Nationwide!

Thank goodness for Nationwide!
Who knew my puppy would eat a sock and need emergency surgery (not me). It was all covered! I tell all my pet owner friends how important pet insurance is. It's only a small price to pay for such an important coverage. Thank you!!
