Good claim service, but pre-existing conditions practice make it difficult to use
I signed up for Nationwide this year for pet insurance for the first time. There are a lot of positive aspects of how you submit claims, etc., but what has made it difficult to get value from it has been how they have gone into my pet's history to identify any pre-existing conditions or even current conditions that may have been related to earlier conditions. Basically, unless your dog is in perfect health or if you are anticipating new expenses as your dog ages, then this probably isn't a good value.

ASPCA insurance is great and would recommend!
I've had this insurance for my pom for at least a few years now and have used it every year since having it! Recently my pom had very expensive exploratory surgery and ASPCA was very quick to go over my claim and refund the majority of that money. I have recommended to everyone who mentions they want to get insurance for their pet.

My vet is a direct pay from r Trupanion so I only have to pay my copay, which means less upfront money for me. It is fast and efficient. I got the insurance when my dogs were pups so most things are always covered. Great insurance!
