Is this the right insurance for me?
I' m not sure if this is the best insurance for everyone. We've sent in claims but have only received $1.80 in repayment so far. I'm not totally sure what is covered and why this insurance is the recommended for my furry family member.

It's really disappointing that no help can be offered at all in any way for conditions an animal presented with during the wait period.
It's really disappointing that no help can be offered, at all, in any way, for conditions an animal presented with during the wait period. I really wish that there was some sort of system to allow for help with these things- they're very high cost and it may be a huge barrier to treatment for people who are trying very hard to do the right thing by their pets.

Beni meets a dog whisperer
Beni had an eye infection. The vet (locum) was truly a dog whisperer. Beni is difficult to handle, not aggressive, just wiggly and the vet always gets down on the floor to examine him. Anyway, with two assistants his eye was examined and treated. He is fine after five days on the eye gel. The office staff submitted our claim on the spot and we knew then that none of it was covered. We have a $500.00 deductible. We insure Beni just in case something really bad happens since, as you know, it doesn't take long to run up a large bill when treating our pets. With Trupanion the claims are handled very efficiently through the veterinarian's office. For someone looking to purchase pet insurance, we would have no hesitation recommending Trupanion.

Highly recommend Trupanion!
I am very happy that I have Trupanion to help out with any medical expenses for my fur baby Winter. Claims can take 4 to 6 weeks but thats because Trupanion is very thorough verifying each claim. Its worth the wait! I highly recommend Trupanion because it can be very expensive when our fur babies get sick. They deserve the best care. Its good to have Trupanion on your side to help with the expensive medical bills.

9 Great Years!
In 2010, my husband and I never heard of pet insurance. We took a calculated risk when we enrolled our kitten, Emma. Over the past 9 years, we have been so grateful for Trupanion. We have never experienced any issues with claims and have felt supported throughout Emma's various health issues over the years. It is without hesitation that we have and will continue to recommend Trupanion to friends, family, and colleagues. And, when we're emotionally ready to take on another pet, we will return to Trupanion. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
