I love Vitus Vet App because it makes it super easy to file claims and Nationwide is prompt in paying the claims!
Nationwide has provided very good service and response once I figured out how to use the Vitus Vet app. We are grateful to have coverage for our senior beloved Golden so our decisions for his care are not colored by the expense.

I have insured 4 kittens through Nationwide Pet Insurance; because of this insurance, we've been able to provide and pay for excellent care for them, including compassionate end-of-life care in the worst of circumstances. We currently have 90% coverage with an annual $250 deductible, including wellness visits, which is indispensable when raising a new kitten (checkups, vaccines, medicines, even spay/neuter costs are all covered). I file claims through the VitusVet app, which makes the claims process simple, straightforward, and—most importantly—incredibly fast, and the direct deposit reimbursement means I'm not left waiting for a check in the mail.

Excellent coverage and service
We have been insured by Healthy Paws for 2 years. We’ve got 2 cats and a dog and our experience has always been nothing short of 10 stars. Healthy paws make filing claims really easy, and the majority of the time claims are settled within a day or so. Their customer service team are easy to get a hold of (I’ve never waited more than a few minutes to speak with someone) and they genuinely care about the pets that they cover. We had a tragedy fall on us recently when our eldest cat Nelson was hit by a car. He ended up needing surgery for a shattered pelvis and a fractured foot, and suffered a couple of complications in the weeks following. Of all the worries that we had, one thing that we did not have to worry about was his coverage. Healthy Paws covered the majority of the bills and made the whole process as easy as possible. They even sent me a follow up email a few weeks later asking how he was doing. Thankfully, he’s making great steps in his recovery and should be back to full strength in the next few months. Pet insurance was not a "thing" with our other dogs, so we were a bit skeptical when we signed up for it with our new puppy 2 years ago. Nationwide takes the worry out of having a dog!
My claims are processed so quickly, and when I have a question the nationwide representatives are so friendly and concerned. Veterinary costs in my part of the country are probably higher than they are just about anywhere else, but I am not willing to compromise on the quality of care Nakita receives. Because Nakita is insured through nationwide, I am able to get her thoroughly checked out whenever there is a problem.

Great customer service
I'm writing this review hoping no one will ever need to use them for medical issues. But - I have a 4 years old French bulldog with Healthy Paws insurance since day 1. The 1 (and hopefully last time) I needed help from them, they were awesome !!! I took pics of the doctor documents, medical bills and the receipts. In less then a week I got very clear email with all the info I needed. How much I had out of pocket and how much I've been reimbursed. Healthy Paws covered about 80% of my expenses and in few days I got a check by mail. We all want to do everything we can to help our little nuggets and I'm so glad I had this company to help me with it. I'm full of hope that none of you will ever need to file claims and that your pet will stay healthy and protected !

Great Pet Insurance!
Healthy Paws has provided great coverage for both of my dogs throughout their lives. I've been a customer since 2012 and have never had any issues with them. One of my dogs went through a period of seizures and the other has had early onset arthritis and a torn ACL. Healthy Paws has appropriately reimbursed every claim I've submitted with very little trouble. I highly recommend you insure your pet with them while its young so that you are covered for life and don't have to make hard decisions about health care. Knowing Healthy Paws was there to back me up has made a lot of decisions much easier to make and allowed me to give my dogs the best care!
