Slow inconsistent service
I made claims for the same condition (both recently tested Lyme positive) in my two dogs. One was denied within 48 hours, citing the costs associated with the illness were 'preventive', and one was reviewed for 6 weeks and then approved. My service from Trupanion has been inconsistent, which leads to frustration.

Easy to sign up but a bit ambiguous.
Signing up was fairly easy. Many of the explanations regarding coverage was ambiguous, even when speaking with your staff. I do find the premium high to relieve to other companies but I have heard excellent reviews about coverage in times of need.

I do recommend trupanion to so many people because of the many many bills they have paid for my three dogs. Everyone that I have ever talked to have been so friendly and helpful. Great customer service and invoices paid within a reasonable time. Great company!!!
