So far trupanion has lived up to what is advertises it does. I have not been caught up in any ready tape thus far. Let's see what happens with this claim. In a nutshell it was pleasant to get a person on the phone Sunday afternoon at 4pm.

Easy claims process, fair decisions and clearly documented information about coverage eligibility. Occasionally it can take a bit longer to get escalated responses/troubleshooting done, but staff is helpful and does get everything addressed eventually. I have worked with other pet insurance companies previously and even with the occasional delay in response time Trupanion is light years ahead in ease of use, clarity of policies and timely reimbursement.

Did not submit claim, claim was opened
I did not submit a claim. However some how, a claim was submitted and rejected. Therefore I had no experience with the claim aside from receiving an email one was opened and another email that it was rejected. I submitted no claim to Trupanion.
