HORRIBLE! WASTE OF MONEY ... DON'T BUY~
THIS INSURANCE IS GREAT IF YOU PURCHASE, WHEN YOUR PET IS A PUPPY/KITTEN. AS THEY GET OLDER, EVEN HAVING ALL THE ADD ON'S, ITS A WASTE OF MONEY! THEY WILL FIND ANY REASON, TO DENY A CLAIM. THEY USE THE WORD : PRE EXISTING CONDITIONS" REALLY?? I WAS PAYING PREMIUMS OF $125 A MONTH, WEATHER MY POOCHES WENT OR NOT! THEN 2 OF MY DOGGIES, HAD ISSUES COSTING ME WELL OVER $10K IN 20 MONTHS, AND THE INSURANCE COMPANY.. ONLY COVERED YEARLY SHOTS! SO, I CANCELED RIGHT AWAY, AND GOT A CARE CREDIT CREDIT CARD, WHICH COVERS MY POOCHES, WHEN I NEED IT, AND ALSO HAS A 6 MONTH PROMOTION, NO INTEREST, FOR 6 MOS, AS LONG AS YOU PAY IT OFF. SO LIKE I SAID, IF YOU PURCHASE THE INSURE, WHEN YOUR ANIMAL IS YOUNG, IT WILL PROBABLY HELP YOU, OR IF GOD FORGIVE, YOUR PET GETS HIT BY OR CAR OR SOMETHING, IT MAY HELP YOU... MORE $$ OUT EVRY MONTH, AND NOTHING IN THE END~ PLEASE SAVE YOUR $$.

The rep was professional.
The rep was professional. However I was not happy with the response stating Trupanion would not pay for a specialist to determine if my pet was to have surgery that day. It was not just an “exam”, it was like a pre op consult he determined surgery was not needed, which was great news. So when the claim was denied I was really shocked that it wasn’t covered. I have had exceptional service before and this is not what I expected. The rep said “it was just an exam”. REALLY??????

Trupanion is one of a kind. Efficiency, so easy to file/ make a claim..best staff ever, caring, polite knowledgeable. I will never be without Trupanion as long as i have a pet. I was waiting for isaiah in the parking lot of the animal hospital because of Covid, while she had her ears checked and I literally had 2 texts (or emails) from Trupanion before I even had my dog back from inside the vets office .. and all the claim info before I left the parking lot.. who does that?! The best run business on the planet.. and every single employee I've ever talked to actually asks about my dog!!
