Trupanion is awesome. My dog has lots of medical bills. Don't know what I'd do without Trupanion.

Incredible amazing service. At a very difficult moment having to make medical decisions for my sweet Charlie, the service provided was exceptional and took away the heavy financial decisions I needed to make to keep my Charlie alive. They even called both hospitals involved and called me several times with updates on how the insurance will work and what was covered. This would have been extremely difficult if not for your help. Not that easy. Pretty annoying.
Long process to enter the receipt and even longer process to receive confirmation that the claim had been processed and how much would be applied to my deductible. Why not just have a button that says upload receipt and you guys can figure it out and enter all the info. Simple.

Best Pet Insurance Ever!
I have a almost 11 year old Golden Retriever and and almost 10 year old Golden Retriever. We've had numerous claims and Trupanion has ALWAYS come through for us. The piece of mind is worth every (affordable) monthly payment we have made and Trupanion makes it extremely easy to submit our medical costs. I will always have them as my pet insurance. If your dog has ever been to the vet, don't get Embrace pet insurance.
Embrace is going to go through your pets medical records with a fine tooth comb and will not cover anything that they deem to be a preexisting condition. If you have a puppy who has never been to the vet for anything other than routine care, they might be a good pet insurance company. If your pets records indicate any kind of a vet visit for anything other than routine care, it will be considered to be a pre-exisiting condition and will not be covered for different lengths of time, some forever, some for a year. If your dog hurts her leg while on a hike, it will be considered an orthopedic condition and therefore, a pre-exisiting condition.

This company has been on a downward spiral! They used to be affordable when my dogs were young. Now, the per pet premium has climbed to nearly $500/mo and claims are taking two months to be reimbursed. Recinsider before you choose!
