The Best Company Ever!!
If I could give Trupanion 100 stars, I would. Five is not nearly enough. My Rex was diagnosed with Lymphoma back in November. I called Trupanion and a live person answered the phone. The customer service was impeccable. Everyone I have spoken to Trupanion cannot be trained to have those customer service skills. They are truly a gift, and Trupanion hires the best individuals. Everything was explained to me, and nothing was difficult at all. My veterinarian treats my dog...he goes for chemotherapy once a week....then faxes a claim to Trupanion. Within a couple of minutes I get a text from Trupanion that the claim has been received. Minutes later I get another text letting me know it was approved. At that point I call my veterinarian and pay my 10%. Trupanion covers 90% after my $500 deductible. I wish claims for humans were paid that quickly. Everyone with a dog or a cat should have Trupanion. I would have had to take out a loan to care for my dog throughout his journey with Lymphoma. By the way, he is doing extremely well, and I am grateful for a wonderful veterinarian and also to Trupanion, that I was allowed to just focus on my dog's health and not the financials. Healthy Paws Review
I have had several claims with Healthy Paws, and they responded to each claim very promptly. Once the claim was approved, I received my check within days. I am so thankful for Healthy Paws because it has allowed me to give my pet the best care possible. I am so thankful for the love and care that they give to pets that need medical treatment. I highly recommend Healthy Paws.

Fetch (then Pet Plan) insurance purchased 2018. Vet report submitted and accepted said MILD tartar on canines. No further treatment required by vet. Paid ever increasing monthly amounts over the years (latest increase took the monthly bill to 165 per month) for 90% coverage on $2000 annual claim) Teeth removed in 2023 due to periodontal disease. Claim (for $1,200 after co pay) denied because they claimed she had pre existing condition. There was no pre existing diagnosis, or treatment plan. Please beware of this company. This review is less about the moderatly small amount of the claim, more the concern that they would not have the intregity to stand by their word in the event of a big claim that could be the difference between life and death.
