This is a new policy for me. I haven’t had any claims yet so from what I have had to the beginning verything is grand.
I cannot get lower than 1 star. The claims dept refused the claim after an accident saying to claim against the other insurance company. It took Desgardins insurance 4 months with lawyers to get Sonnet to accept the claim. All the while Desjardins insurance paid the monthly income replacement. Kudos to Desjardins. Then after 4 months Sonnet denied the claim saying the drivers license was not the right level. Well it was at the time of the accident but downgraded during the 4 months.
Sonnet is the worst as they don’t know their own industry rules. They are priced cheaply for a reason.
Overnight, thieves broke into my car and helped themselves to many items I had loaded for my very early golf round. I have both house and auto insurance with Sonnet, and making the claim was a breeze. The folks I dealt with at Sonnet eased my distress and were real pros. The whole process took about 3 weeks and I am really happy with my settlement, and that I can now purchase new golf equipment. Thanks Sonnet
