Great Policy
Our Olde English Bulldogge had Entropion and needed surgery twice. Pets Best covered both surgeries, all of the pain meds, and the Rx eye drops, thank you!

Highly Recommend Pets Best
We've insured two dogs with Pets Best. Our previous dog was diagnosed with kidney failure, and our recent pup was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Both our pups have passed, but their medical treatment enabled them to have a high-quality of life up until the very end. Submitting claims on the Pets Best website was super easy and customer service representatives were always knowledgeable, courteous, and available. Explanation of benefits and reimbursement were always prompt. Having medical insurance for your dog makes the medical decisions easier. It would be tragic for veterinary costs to negatively affect the decisions for your dog's wellbeing. We will definitely use Pets Best for our next dog. "

Disputed Claim Denial Despite Veterinary Support
I am extremely disappointed with the handling of my claim by the claims department. My dog, Louis, was treated for an ear infection in November 2025; however, the claim was denied solely because he received Cytopoint for allergies during the same visit. The claims department concluded that the ear infection was related to his allergies, which I strongly dispute.
To support my case, I provided a detailed letter from my veterinarian; however, this documentation was not accepted. I appealed the decision twice, yet the claim continued to be denied. The final review was conducted by an independent veterinarian affiliated with Pets Best, who also upheld the denial.
This process raises serious concerns about the fairness and objectivity of the review. It is difficult to have confidence in an “independent” assessment when the outcome consistently favors the insurer, despite clear supporting evidence from the treating veterinarian.
Furthermore, I am concerned that this decision sets a precedent, implying that any future ear infections Louis may experience could be automatically denied, regardless of their actual cause.

Honestly the cheapest pet insurance…
Honestly the cheapest pet insurance you’ll be able to find for the coverage I get. They do take a little longer than average my last claim took 7 days to approve and 7 days to get my money back but for the price I get compared to other insurance companies I totally understand. I know they got me if something crazy happens
