Fast and Easy Claim process
This was the first time I had to use my dogs pet insurance. He needed to see an ophthalmologist and ended up needing cryosurgery on some eyelashes that were growing, where they didn't belong. And poking him in the eyes. The claim process was easy and fast. I submitted his claim on a Thursday and on Saturday had an email that it had been processed. And that I would be having money deposited in my account in 5 to 7 days! I did have to call to clarify something. The customer service person that I spoke with was very friendly knowledgeable. I always preach to everyone how important pet insurance is the cost of specialized veterinary care is expensive. of course. It's reassuring to know that you're able to provide care. Okay a procedure and not worry about how you're going to pay for it.
Horrible claim handling process
Submitted claim with all details and receipt. Then they asked for vet documentation. It was sent in timely manner. They acknowledged thay had it. Then they requested again but last 12 months of records, my dog had his first vet visit in January so there was no 12 months to provide. I explained. They closed claim. I had to email them, no phone to call, they had to re-open claim. Took over 3 months to get decision.
Claim Submission handled expertly
I submitted claim but received response from MetLife that I needed to submit more information. After doing so I received another more confusing response. Called the following day (a Saturday morning) and the customer service person helped organize what I had sent so as not to have claim denied, then explained what she had done. I checked the website later that day; the claim is now in review and no additional information still needed. Very happy and excellent customer service. I took out insurance after adopting Sully. Quick and easy application process and very glad Sully is covered.

Emergency visit
"What was supposed to be a simple neuter for my pet turned into a frightening emergency visit 5 days later. A second surgery was needed at a cost of $1500! I paid with my Care Credit card and submitted my paid invoice to Pets Best. Pets Best covered nearly ALL of it and sent the payment to my Care Credit account before my pets 14 day healing period was even over!!! Thankful for we have this insurance!!!"

My dog has been to the vet every month this year for some allergies and I've been reimbursed amazingly. I'm very happy with my experience and am so grateful. The ease of filing claims is so easy and I never have to wait too long. I'm so happy to be a Pets Best customer.
Honest review
"While I feel the claims coverage is fair, I feel the increase in premiums each year I have to file a claim is predatory. Blaming it on "a greater use of modern veterinary medicine" is just a fancy way of saying because you used your coverage, we are going to make sure you pay loads more. From $191/qtr to $317/qtr should be criminal but here we are. At least my furbaby is still alive. "

Quick and easy.
I have only had to use the insurance a few times in the past 6 years. I have two dogs covered, and the portal is very user friendly and takes only about two weeks from the time of claim submission to reimbursement. I highly recommend Pets Best for any pet owners.
