I purchased Trupanion 8 years ago when I first adopted Mo. I am so glad I did since he was diagnosed with cancer a few days ago. The urgent care hospital not only took care of my dog, but they also contacted Trupanion and handled payment of my bill! I am so thankful to have Trupanion.

I will admit
I will admit, when I was offered the thirty-day free trial from my vet, I was very skeptical, but I did it. And I am so glad I did. My puppy had an emergency, and the bill was over three thousand dollars, and I only had to pay six hundred of it. I couldn't ask for an easier experience with an insurance company than I got with you. I am so grateful, and I will keep you for as long as the dog is alive.

Trupanion pays claims quickly
Trupanion pays claims quickly. A few years ago, Duncan needed an MRI, CT scan, and a spinal tap on the same day. Trupanion paid their portion before our credit card bill arrived. Recently, Quinn needed patella surgery. We were reimbursed within a day of submitting the bill. Customer service is always helpful and pleasant.

Clear policies, affordable, & reliable
Nationwide makes it easy to submit a claim and they’re fair on their reimbursements! I was using a different pet insurance and I got so frustrated with all the different rules and sneaky ways of them getting around paying for things. This policy had the same coverage & price without the nonsense. Happy I made the switch!
