Lucy's surgery

My dog Lucy got really sick after getting a cat toy stuck in her small intestine. She was able to get surgery within 48 hours. Pet's Best took care of the financial end and let us focus on caring for Lucy and helping her make a full recovery.

I had a Terrible Experience

I had a Terrible Experience , with Pets Best Insurance. They Charged my American Express, for 3 yrs Automatically, after I I Cancelled Policy. They have Refused to Credit my American Express back. I give Lemonade 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!! They have been Incredible, and Best Prices. Cheryl

I've ensured my pets with them for…

I've ensured my pets with them for years and they have been reasonable mostly. I did have to file an appeal on a claim that was rejected multiple times. I did finally receive refunds. The process requires resilience, patience and persistence from the customers. It does seem the processing team doesn't want to or are trained not to investigate on complicated claims but to reject them by coding them as disqualified items, if you want your refund you need to be patient and not give up on trying.

Easiest claim process I've ever found

Over my 20+ years of buying pet insurance, I've tried multiple companies. Pet's Best has been the easiest company to file a claim with. We travel multiple times a year with our pets--and I don't have to worry about whether the closest vet is within the insurance network or whether their fees are in line with some arbitrary schedule. In an emergency you don't want to have to worry about anything except getting your pet the care they need. To file a claim, I just go online, take a photo of the paid claim and usually within just a few days it has been processed and I'm usually reimbursed within two weeks or sooner. One dog is 13 years old today and has been successfully treated for two different types of cancer. The costs would have been impossible without insurance. Our other dog is 11--and has never had a claim--but having the insurance gives me such peace of mind. I've only had to appeal one decision in over 10 years..

Pet Insurance FTW

My little guy had a scary bug. When we took him to the urgent vet (who knew that was a thing?) we panicked over the bill but knew it had to be done. My hubby paid it without a single complaint. I told him I'd submit it to Bo's insurance. He didn't even know pet insurance was a thing. He was so surprised when the claim was approved and we got back almost all of what we had to pay! He'll tell anybody me who will listen how valuable pet insurance is now. It was my first claim submission and the process couldn't have been easier. 10/10 recommend.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
