How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Hofmann Veterinary Clinic
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Hofmann Vet Clinic is by far the best vet clinic me and my fur baby, fluffy have ever been. I have had the displeasure of being at multiple vets in Ontario and out of province and Hofmann Vet Clinic will always be my first choice. Fluffy and I found the catnip fairy and her lovely team back in 2021 (took a short break with different vets when we moved around, however, all the roads came back to Hofmann). I literally will travel 1.5 hours to come here as I don't live in Etobicoke anymore. All of the humans that work here are wonderful humans, including the resident cats (stella and lucy). They genuinely care about animals and it shows in their empathy, professionalism and mission. I am always assured that she is in good hands. They understand my financial situation and have always been transparent about different options so that I can make the right decision for my baby. I trust in their knowledge and individualized support. You see this in how they aren't trying to rush through the appointment like some clinics where it feels like your baby is just a number and she's in and out like revolving door. The Hofmann team have one to two patients at most and give attention to each animal. When Dr Khanum can't see her, she is still loved by Dr Bangar and was able to see me at a different location for emergency care. I can see how they interact with all animals and their parents. I LOVE IT. Fluffy is a rescue cat. She didn't like humans at all and she has truly come around and she feels safe with the team too. Dr Khanum is the best catnip fairy, and she is so kind and supportive. All procedures are explained thoroughly and Fluffy's care plan is always with her best interests at the forefront. Yes, vet clinics do need to make money to support their work, but it's not their primary goal. They care about the people and animals that come through their doors. Every staff member is friendly and I'm so grateful to have found this incredible clinic for the health and well-being of my fur baby. Thank you to all of you. I am forever grateful for your love and dedication to this work. Fluffy loves you!! I wish we could emojis to reviews. :)

What a wonderful staff. Excellent veterinary and compassionate care. I highly recommend them! My foster cat just had a major dental surgery and he was treated like a VIP! Dr. Khan is amazing and goes above and beyond to help the pet....as well as the people! I am a retired animal shelter worker and veterinary assistant so I have extremely high expectations and standards......this vet and the staff surpassed them all!! Thank you all so much from Kay and Huginn. 🩷👍😊🙏

We are from LA but when in town Hofmann Vet Clinic is our go to! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Dr Khan is a God sent. She’s super friendly, knowledgeable and really takes the time to explain everything to her clients from health care to financial. Our dog Nala is now a Senior dog and has been facing some new health issues. Dr Khan and her entire team have been so supportive and I will continue to trust her medical expertise moving forward. Many thanks to the whole Hofmann team we love and appreciate all of your hard work!

Highly recommend this clinic. It is convenient as it’s in between Vaughan and Etobicoke and you know that they care, and that is priceless. I felt through my whole time here that Marley is treated with the most care, consideration and love. He went through his first surgery and couldn’t have gone more smoothly. With checkups directly from the doctor post surgery to easy communication with the team, I know my dog is always in good hands. Big thank you to the whole team, from Marley and me!

Absolutely recommend this clinic!! They did an amazing job on a serious surgery that my cat had to have. After the surgery they kept him under supervision for 5 days, making sure he's healing fine. After I've brought my cat home they did weekly checkups and even checked every now and then with me on the phone. Also if I had any questions or concerns they were always there to answer them in depth. Having been to different vets, I definitely felt empathy and extreme care from the doctors and staff at this clinic. You can tell right away they do this job with love!! Thank you Dr. Bangar, Dr. Shakeela, Kaz and all of the staff for all your care and help through this!!
