Wow. I used these guys for years. I thought I'd get a 2nd opinion for renewal from an Insurance Broker and found Sonnets inclusive policy was underinsuring my home 4-fold. No1- They state you are insured whatever the value but a Broker has informed me that they "must" calculate a home rebuild value to obtain a quote. and Digging deeper and looking at Earthquake cover we found further evidence that equated to a massively underinsured home. PHEW. Furthermore, my CC expiry needed renewing and they insisted they had written to me DIRECTLY to inform me - to my OLD Home they "used" to Insure. They hadn't updated their files to my new address and blamed me - Current clients beware. ALL your correspondence goes to your old address when you move! No2. I updated my CC on my online profile whilst my home was insured and subsequently received an email stating they had cancelled my insurance. No3. Once again notifying me by recorded mail to my OLD insured Address. Be very careful you have an actual "rebuild value" from these guys. Im so pleased I found out now. Sonnets complete ignorance and inability to admit they had made a mistake to my detriment made me super unhappy. I will be taking my two policies elsewhere. I hope people read this carefully. I am a Businessman myself and can honestly say these guys in their own words are "Digitized" Nothing outside of the parameters of "Digitization" in their opinion is the norm. How Sad and how Scary. CAVEAT EMPTOR. You responded for the purpose of the Public to believe you care. You offered No Way to resolve the situation. You cancelled my Insurance and have left me in a predicament whereby I have an apparent cancelled policy due to client issue, when in fact you cancelled due to your negligence and lack of systems. I updated my Credit Card while insured - twice - you sent a recorded letter to my previous home you insured two years ago. Stop hiding behind your slogan of "Digitisation. We are Human, and the future is NOW.
