Final result was appreciated, but overall lack of communication hurt

I appreciated the outcome of a recent claim, but I was disappointed by the lack of clear communication regarding the necessary documents for the vet to process it. When I initially submitted the claim, it was closed due to missing documents. I was never informed about the specific documents required by the vet to complete the claim. After resubmitting the claim with the provided documents, I had to repeatedly call the customer service to inquire about the remaining requirements. It took over a month and a half to finalize the claim, which could have been avoided if the adjuster had communicated the necessary documents clearly from the beginning.

Pets Best is Amazing

Pets Best has been absolutely wonderful to work with, my pit bull mix has had several issues over the last year and they process claims with lightning speed. She recently had to have TPLO surgery, without Pets Best I wouldn’t have been able to afford it. I am extremely grateful and would 1000% recommend Pets Best and have recommended then to every one I know!

The variety of labrador themed shirts…

The variety of labrador themed shirts id amazing. Ordered a variety of both chocolate and black lab shirts for wife and she loves them. The quality and fit are the best online and their customer service far surpasses all others. We would like to see more long sleeved shirts as fall is coming - even in Florida

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
