UTI or KIDNEY STONES

Our 4 YO female Golden was experiencing frequent urination and obvious discomfort and it appeared she was having difficulty emptying her bladder. We took her to the vet who examined her and advised they would need a urine sample and X-ray to determine infection or blockage. After those procedures we returned to pick her up and received instructions to give antibiotics and a cranberry supplement that would relieve symptoms. The following day the lab confirmed the UTI and the X-ray result was explained with no blockage. We were relieved and our Koda girl is getting back to normal after a few days."

Easy claim process for Cancer Treatment

My pup is being treated for melanoma cancer currently and we go every two weeks for his infusion. The claim process has been so fast and efficient that the process is complete and paid out before the next treatment comes up. It's been such a huge stress relief to not have to come up with extra thousands of dollars to ensure that he has the best quality of life with the time we have left.

rip off after you join and renew

if you are looking for pet insurance, I would suggest shopping around elsewhere!! this company starts you off ok but then jumping up your payments left and right for no cause!! I hardly ever make a claim!! but for the past 3 years they have jacked up my rates every year more than 50.00 per month!! Now to the point I am forced to just make as many claims as I can to make it worth having them for coverage!! When I asked them about them keep raising my rates so much and often!! I get the some ole same ole!! oh it is due to cost and amount of claims!! that is BS!! when some like me don't even hardly make claims!! So No in my opinion you can find a better and cheaper company for your baby's coverage! I have checked for the same coverage I can get it much cheaper than what they are charging me now!! but I can't switch and that is how this company gets you because they know you will not be able to change if you have any pre-existing issues even like arthritis!!

Another great experience!

Pets Best continues to provide excellent customer care and satisfaction. Sookie has had several large and complicated claims that they have not only kept me up to date on the status but have been quick to process and pay out to my account. I will continue to refer and praise them up to other pet parents. Truly, Sookie’s insurance with them has been a blessing.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
