Absolutely wonderful vets and teams at Metro!! I had a critically I'll kitten that went to multiple ERs before going to Metro and no one was able to find his diagnosis. That was until Dr Marshall got a look at him. She was able to diagnose him with Dry FIP, and while the treatment was a very extensive process her, Dr Wolfe, and the rest of the team gave him the best fighting chance and did everything in their power to make the at home medicines a smooth process for me. The treatments were looking, but the Metro team held our paws the whole way! Little Kai made a full recovery and is healthier than I could have ever imagined!

I can’t say enough good things about everyone we encountered here. We live in Evansville, IN and for being the 3rd largest city in Indiana we have non-existent emergency care for our pets majority of the time which is bull! That’s another review. We knew prior to leaving our home and driving the 2 hours for emergency care that our Lucy was dying. We called and informed staff of what was going on, called when we got closer, and were met at our vehicle with a gurney as by the time we got there she had bled so much internally she could no longer stand. Everyone we spoke with on the phone, and everyone we encountered at the vet was so kind and compassionate with us and with Lucy. Thank you! Your kindness meant more than you will ever know! P.S. I have included some of Lucy’s “poverty pool” pictures from that very afternoon.

Our sweet 11-year-old dog daughter Shoni passed away a week ago. We took her to the Metropolitan Hospital when she started having trouble breathing. She was in ICU for a week and she finally passed. The staff and the Doctors were kind, thoughtful and excellent. Dr. Smith and Dr. Wagoner tried everything to save her. The outcome was bad, but they did everything humanly possible, and they took good care of our sweet girl. We are glad we took her here. 🙏💔. We highly recommend Metropolitan Hospital.

Called ahead & they got all my info so they were ready for our arrival. They listened to us so well & did a thorough exam & helping our dog with his injury. Everyone was so kind & helpful. It may feel more expensive but the quality of experience far outweighs cost for the care of my dogs. Thankful we have such a good 24/7 center we can get to.

I don’t think we could ever properly thank the team at Metropolitan Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Service for what they did for our beloved Yin Yang. Yin Yang had a life-threatening urinary blockage and needed emergency care. The doctors and staff took such good care of him, kept us updated, and treated him with so much compassion. They gave him the care he needed and gave him a second chance at life. Yin Yang is now home with his brother and sister and back to his old cuddly self thanks to the care he recieved we cannot put into words how thankful we are for Metropolitan Veterinary Service.
