How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Gailor Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Took my dog in for a checkup when he hit ten months. They clipped his nails for free. He had a couple small patches and marks after his first summer dealing with mosquitoes and stuff. The check up was $73. They recommended antibiotic medicine and shampoo . All together I spent $165 since I accepted the medicine and shampoo . The staff were friendly and nice . Place is clean and didn’t smell like animals.

I have been a client at Gailor Animal Hospital for approximately 30±years. Rusty and all of his staff have always been and they continue to be extremely dedicated, attentive, accessible, knowledgeable and friendly to both the clients and the animals under the care of the client. It is because of these qualities as well as their remarkable standard of integrity that serves as the foundation for trusting and allowing them to manage the care of both my pets and any additional animals under my care (rescues, etc) needing medical care. It is also the reason why I always recommend and refer Gailor Animal Hospital as my primary choice to friends/family as well as local residents, rescues, animal care orgs seeking veterinary/medical services for pets and/or animals in need. Keep up the great work!!! Kindest Regards. Rebecca Frith/pitbullmom74

I have been with Gailor Animal Hospital over 20 years now and there is no other place that I trust for the care of my pets!!! I have used other resources when money was tight, but never anything that related to the quality of life or trusted care for my furry babies. Dr Lackey and the staff at Gailor are always amazing!!!!! I truly feel like family when I go in.

I LOVED Dr. Brewer. She understood my pets needs and provided wonderful service. I've had vets in the past that made me feel bad for not having the ability to spend thousands of dollars on medical care. She did not and gave me wonderful OTC advise. I plan on making her my regular vet.
