Sonnet | Pet Insurance Review

Sonnet is absolutely horrible! We were in an accident and not at fault. They didn’t check the area of the car that was damaged during the accident. It took 6 months and a lot of calling and emails for them to get it looked at. Then they denied it because the mechanic said “it’s been six months. I can’t say damage was done six months ago.”. Sonnet lied to me over and over and said I never told them about the damage. But CarStar Autobody had it in their notes that they informed Sonnet too. It’s all time stamped! But sonnet still refuses to fix it. I had to make an Ombudsman complaint about Sonnet. I told Sonnet to cancel my insurance and that I was switching to the Costco one and they refused to cancel it. DO NOT GO WITH SONNET!!!!

I am not a huge proponent of personless customer service generally but in the case of getting new Maranda this was so much quicker and easier. Having to listen to a customer service rep read through every clause and option is absolutely brutal, especially when I just need simple coverage. Sonnet was the answer to my prayers.

You have excellent customer service. I've spoken with three different representatives at different times, and every one of them was very helpful, patient, and calm. So far, everyone I've dealt with has been professional and kind. You have the right people working in customer service. Keep up the great work!
