Our family have been long-term loyal customers of Sonnet (10+ years) for both home & auto. Today we received an email saying that as of June 1, 2023 they will not be renewing our home insurance. Zero explanation! When I contacted them the said that after careful review they felt they could no longer offer us the coverage we need. UM...what does that even mean? After approx 20 minutes of double-speak and being told they can't go into details as it's Sonnet's proprietary info (I called B.S.), I asked if it was because we'd bever had a claim meaning we weren't profitable for them. Geez.....no response. Guess that means "yes....you have low premiums, are loyal and that is bad for our bottom line" Well.....time to shop around and move all of our insurances.
