Pets Best Gave Me Peace of Mind During Rosie’s Surgery

Our dog Rosie was diagnosed with a liver shunt and needed extensive testing, specialist visits, a CT scan, and surgery. It was an emotional and stressful experience for our family, both financially and emotionally. Having Pets Best insurance gave us peace of mind because we knew we had support during a very difficult time. The claims process was straightforward, and being reimbursed for eligible expenses helped us focus on Rosie’s health and recovery instead of worrying only about the financial burden. Pets Best Was There When Maverick Needed Them Most

My Pomsky, Maverick, has had several unexpected health issues over the years, including a serious urinary tract infection that required emergency veterinary care, diagnostic testing, medications, and follow-up treatment. More recently, he has been dealing with recurring urinary issues and bladder stones that have required multiple veterinary visits, imaging, and ongoing monitoring. Throughout these experiences, Pets Best has been the best pet insurance company I have ever worked with. Submitting claims has been simple, and the reimbursement process has been straightforward and reliable. Having insurance through Pets Best has helped ease the financial stress that comes with unexpected veterinary expenses, allowing me to focus on Maverick's health instead of worrying about how I would pay for his care. Satisfaction with the responsiveness of Pets Best for our Lilly's medical journey.

Our senior lab/shar pei mix was diagnosed with parathyroid cancer through multiple visits with our vet, local labs and finally a local surgical center. Surgery was performed and was successful. Calcium regulation, treatment and monitoring became a key result to ongoing follow up. Pets Best has been responsive, timely and thorough in response to the unanticipated costs of this journey. You may think that pet insurance is costly- and it can be, but if ever needed may (such as in our case) quickly pay for itself several times over

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
