unplanned ER visit
We had an emergency after our dog ingested a foreign object. We got her treatment on a Friday afternoon and uploaded the documents from the ER that day. By Monday our claim was being reviewed, by Wednesday morning we had a response outlining the decision and payment for coverage that was on it's way to our bank. After the copays and deductible, all of which we knew about ahead of time as being part of the plan we chose, we were very happy with the coverage reimbursement and the speed in which it was done. Thank you!

They like to deny clams
Bought the wellness plan also had to fight to get reimbursed on her getting fixed, and now was denied my claim on her boosters and final rabies shots, and already raised my monthly premium a year in👎👎👎👎👎

Great claim process
Claims are super simple to submit. You can easily track the status online and I got a decision in about a week, in some cases faster. I was also paid out quickly and was happy with everything that was covered.
Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.
Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.
Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.
Deductible
$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
