Don't do it
Don't do it, you'll be sorry! You will be fighting a constant battle with these blood suckers as they try to find ANY reason to determine your claim to be a "pre-existing" condition.
They used to be better, but they are totally out of control! How bad you ask? Well, the latest battle is MetLife claiming that despite claiming to cover dental cleanings, they are claiming that my dog's recent dental cleaning is not covered as it is a "pre-existing" condition!!!! So dental cleanings are covered, but apparently if your dog previously had teeth they won't cover it?!?!
Shop around. These guys are a fraud, and you can do FAR better!
