ManyPets | Pet Insurance Review

I started out looking for insurance only but was impressed with the wellness plan. The messaging prior to signing says vaccines and heart worm prevention is covered. What you don’t know until AFTER you sign is that the limit is split between prevention and other categories that I would not have chosen if I knew. It barely covers necessary vaccine and heart worm prevention. Then I found out you can cancel the insurance plan, but not the wellness plan once a payout has been made. So now I’m stuck paying $34 a month for services that I don’t even need. And all their friendly customer service goes out the window once you let them know you want to cancel. This is a bait and switch. Stay away. I regret signing up with this company.

I chose ManyPets after comparing pet insurance plans through Forbes Advisor. It is affordable, has a lower deductible than others, I liked the plan details, and has a 4.5 star rating by Forbes. I’m just completing the waiting period and haven’t actually used it yet, and hope it won’t be needed any time soon.

So far very easy to use and customer service was friendly.

I compared ManyPets to many other pet insurances. I found ManyPets offered the best coverage for the best price by far.

Just signed up for Health Insurance and the Wellness Plan mid Nov 2022. A week later, I ordered $150 in supplements under the Wellness Plan. My purchase was reimbursed on the day I submitted my documents. (Realistically, I expected to have to wait a week!) On a side note, prior to signing up, I read the plans and associated documents. I also called 2x and talked to helpful and transparent folks from Many Pets. They helped me become a more informed consumer and influenced my decision to go with Many Pets.
