Amazing experience at the Animal Hospital of Waco! Everyone—from the front office staff to the veterinary team—was incredibly kind and welcoming. The clinic is very clean and has such a warm, comfortable atmosphere. It’s also super convenient being just a few minutes from Baylor as a student. Dr. Emily Highfill was so kind and thorough with my cat. She usually gets extremely scared at the vet, but this visit went so smoothly and made a huge difference. She received two shots and a full wellness exam, and everything was done quickly and efficiently. Overall, such an easy and positive experience—I highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

Brought our chihuahua in for a checkup, shots and to have her nails cut. First Ashley was so nice and so helpful when I made appointment. She offered the Healthy Pet Plan and it is an amazing program! Help so much financially. Thank you Ashley!! Next we met Leslie. Absolutely sweetest lady!! She was so good with our baby girl. Odie is usually a pain when she goes to the “doggy doctor” but she seemed much better this time. So Dr Rafferty comes in. Oh. My. Goodness!! Will not go to another vet!! Such a wonderful and caring man. You can tell in his actions, explanations and treatment plans how much he loves animals and his job. He gave our baby girl 2 shots and she didn’t seem to flinch. No pain afterward, nothing! Would recommend Animal Hospital of Waco 100%!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Animal Hospital of Waco and their entire staff. When my sweet boy Ruger started sneezing blood, I was terrified and worried sick. From the moment we walked in, every employee treated us with kindness, compassion, and genuine care. The veterinarians and staff took the time to listen, examine Ruger thoroughly, and help calm an extremely anxious dog mama. They were professional, patient, understanding, and made me feel like Ruger truly mattered to them — not just as a patient, but as family. In such a scary moment, their reassurance, knowledge, and compassionate care meant more than I can express. The employees were friendly, attentive, and caring from beginning to end. Thank you all for taking such good care of my precious Ruger and for helping ease my fears when I was so worried. I am beyond grateful and highly recommend Animal Hospital of Waco to anyone looking for a veterinary team that truly cares about both animals and their owners.

Loved the experience, they were really helpful & friendly from the very beginning during our initial phone call. During our first visit, the establishment was very clean and the staff was very sweet. Loved the vets and they handled everything like true professionals and I can’t wait to continue taking my fur baby.

I Love Dr. Brown! The staff and building are amazing, thorough and knowledgeable! SweetiePi was not shaking when we got inside, which she does everywhere else! I appreciate that she finally got help and help from her pain she had been in for over a week! I’m so appreciative for taking a chance and finding her a new better Veterinarian that listened and got her better, unlike Vaquero Veterinary!
