Dr. Carol is the kindest & most caring vet I have found for my best friend (my dog). She (the doctor, not my dog), always has great suggestions and recommendations, and I absolutely LOVE that she integrates holistic with traditional medicine, so not everything is a pill (unless that’s your choice)Our last visit my dog was a little scared, but coming out of the exam room she happy and even smiling. I cannot say enough positive things, and a forever thankful we found Dr. Carol. As a smaller practice, she is very busy, but will never make you feel rushed or that you questions are not important.

Our Husky-Malamute, Loki, was overweight and had to be placed on thyroid meds. Previous vet kept charging for blood test every 6 months and keeping Loki on a maintenance dose after he lost 10 pounds. He was still 15 lbs overweight and also developed ringworm on his body. He had a couple warts near his ears that were increasing in size and his previous vet recommended removing them at a cost of $2,000. Dr Carol put Loki on a higher thyroid dose to make him lose more weight and gave us a list of recommended foods and healthier options for Loki. She also had us shave him down and treated his ringworm with medication and some holistic remedies. After a few months of treatment, and losing an additional 13 lbs, Loki is a new dog! He has more energy and is noticeably happier. His skin has healed and the hair is growing back. The warts have decreased in size and don’t seem to be growing any more. Dr Carol suggested keeping an eye on the warts as they are minor superficial warts instead of putting him through a surgical procedure. He has a more nutritious and healthier diet. The total cost of his treatment was less than what his wart removal would have cost. We hope that his new happiness and increased energy will extend his life by many more years. Thank you Dr Carol!!!!!

Dr. Carol is an amazing! She is a real gem! For the past 2 years, I have been taking my Frenchie, Butterscotch, to multiple veterinarians for vomiting several times a day every day as well as allergies resulting in constant scratching and licking his paws. After multiple chemical medications, injections, blood tests, x-rays and even BOAS laser surgery which they said would help with the vomiting, it was a huge monetary investment to no avail because no one was able to find the cause or fix the problems. I kept searching for someone who could get to the root cause and then I found Dr. Carol. She is professional and very knowledgeable. In my first visit, she did a thorough examination. She did not rush me out of her office with another prescription for a pill. She took her time to explain to me her findings. She had studied all of Butterscotch's medical records that she had requested before the first visit. She listened to me about my concerns. She gave me options. She gave me a new feeding plan and suggested keeping a journal. She called me personally several times to see how the plan was working and to keep me abreast of test results. For the very first time, I felt that someone finally cared about the health and well-being of my pet. She even discovered an allergy that had not shown up in any of the previous tests, which was a game changer. She told me the changes I needed to make and suggested natural formulations that she makes as well as other ones. She never pushed me to buy any product. I chose the natural products because of his allergies. Over the next 2 weeks after further testing, the vomiting had decreased and Butterscotch was not chewing and licking his paws like he used to. She found the root cause. I highly recommend Dr. Carol.

We came to Dr. Carol after our standard vet recommended amputating our almost 11yr old boxer mix’s leg. He had a large tumor removed in February and they said they thought it was a soft tissue sarcoma cancer but advised we did not need to test it. In April/may, more tumors showed up with a vengeance. That’s when amputation was recommended with no diagnosis. We sought out and chose Dr. Carol due to her natural way of treating animals for a second opinion. We immediately loved her individual care of the pets. She sees one pet at a time so she is solely focused on who she is treating in that moment. She told us to get the tumor that was removed tested for an official diagnosis. The old vet still had it so we sent it out & it came back as a lipoma! Thank goodness we got the 2nd opinion. Dr. Carol did further research and testing of the new tumors. Leading up to the diagnosis, Dr. Carol checked in almost every day to see how our pup was doing. She brought us in frequently with the changes in the tumor’s behavior and tried different approaches. There was a scare with tea tree oil poisoning where she got us in same day to treat our dog. Our pup was diagnosed with mass cell cancer officially with the help of Dr. Carol. She has guided us to a better diet regimen. She consulted with 2 oncologists on his type of cancer and continuing to do research on it. We cannot thank Dr. Carol enough for her time, research, and care into our pup. I should also note, at every other typical vet our pup is muzzled mainly because he is mixed with an “aggressive breed” and gets nervous at the vet. He is not an aggressive dog and has never exhibited any concerning behavior. This has been done at 2-3 vet offices. Dr. Carol has never muzzled him and he does wonderfully. Even when given shots he has been fine. The only time he ever needed a muzzle was at the vet so the fact that he doesn’t with Dr. Carol speaks volumes to me as an owner. You can tell he is truly at ease with her and trusts her. This is the beginning of our journey with his cancer but so happy we have Dr. Carol in our corner to work through this.

I’m so glad that I found Dr Carol! She takes a holistic approach and really cares about the whole health of my dog. Anytime I call with a concern Dr Carol is able to get my dog in to be seen very quickly which I really appreciate. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and always helpful. I trust them completely and feel so good knowing my pet is in great hands. Highly recommend!
