IF THERE WAS AN OPTION TO LEAVE NO STAR, I WOULD!!! I took my dog here because she stopped eating and drinking water. We noticed her teeth were rotting and wanted help. Instead of running tests or finding out what was really wrong, they pushed two medications and told us to force-feed her. We were told it would be fine. It wasn’t. After one week and $300, she was worse. She was in more pain, barely holding on, and clearly suffering. We went back and told them their medication made her worse and asked for help. Their response? That we should have done bloodwork — something they never even mentioned the first time. They refused to take any responsibility. No apology. No solution. Just told us to pay more money before they would “help.” They didn’t care that our dog was dying right in front of them. One day later, she passed away. This place took our money, ignored the obvious, and let our dog suffer until it was too late. I normally never make reviews like this but, If you love your pet, STAY AWAY from here. They care more about your wallet than your pet’s life. This is not a hospital — it’s a business that will take advantage of you when your pet is vulnerable. The following pictures are when the Vet force fed my dog medication.

We have always brought our dogs to this vet. Dr Gabby B is just the winning combination consistently out performs all the vets we have encountered demonstrating superior veterinary skills, assertive competence and authentic joyful compassion and kindness. Truly exemplary 🙌

Wow - VCA Aventura exceeded my expectations from start to finish . Max who took our appointment was so patient & gave us ALL the info I needed even when it entailed me calling back multiple times to bug him he was so thorough & patient & got us in same day . Andres our tech was so calm & really went above & beyond for me & my girl - Mazzy who is pretty reactive while also a bit of scaredy doggo. He went above & beyond to make us feel seen & for Mazzy to feel safe . Now Dr . Bruggeman was the absolute best Vet I’ve ever encountered seriously ! As a dog mom & having worked in the vet profession I can truly say she was the best I’ve met . She was so so patient , gentle , understanding & Mazzy really took a liking to her ! Everyone seriously went ABOVE & BEYOND for us . It was financially doable for a pregnant single mother , Mazzy felt safe & they were patient letting her warm up to them , they got EVERY worry I had taken care of & we’re even going back in a couple days to finish up because they took her previous history of seizures into account & didn’t want to overwhelm her or her system with too much in one day . I mean they truly exceeded all expectations & brought a huge amount of peace & relief to our life . My girl Mazzy is truly my daughter but it can be very financially & emotionally overwhelming when something goes wrong & instead of leaving there feeling helpless I felt empowered & like my girl was truly well taken care of & like she left in better shape than when we arrived & that’s the goal that’s not usually met unfortunately by other vets . VCA Aventura you guys are truly the best . Dr.B , Andres & Max we thank you so deeply & will never be going anywhere else ! We actually are looking forward to seeing everyone again for Mazzy’s follow up Monday & I think she’ll be so much more relaxed knowing the good hands she’ll be in when we pull up this time . Eternally grateful & 10000/10 recommend this hospital & this team . A++++ 5 Stars ! Thank you 🐾

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful team at VCA Aventura Animal Hospital for the exceptional care they provide to my dog. My dog is my child, and when I moved from NY to FL, I carefully researched many veterinary hospitals before choosing one for her. I am so happy that my instincts led me to VCA Aventura. The amazing Dr. Vergara, Dr. Bruggeman and Fernanda take endless care of my dog. My dog is a senior dog and requires numerous treatments, follow-up appointments, and medications, and everything is always handled on time and with the utmost professionalism. The entire medical team, technicians and front desk staff are incredibly kind and professional. They always greet us with a smile and know the dogs by name, which makes such a difference. I cannot thank them enough for their patience and their willingness to accommodate all of my requests. Their dedication and compassion mean the world to me. I highly, highly recommend them!💙

I love this hospital so much! I know my pups & kitty are safe here and well taken care of. Everyone at the hospital shows nothing but love and kindness towards the pets and owners. The Doctors and technicians are so sweet and the front desk representatives are super welcoming! I especially want to thank/shout out Kayla at the front desk. She was super helpful during check in and check out!
