Sonnet | Pet Insurance Review

Great rates, love that I can do changes online instead of being put on hold for hrs on the phone. I haven't had to do a claim yet(knock on wood, hope I never do) so I don't know how that service is.

Sonnet has been incredibly easy to deal with. My life is hectic and I appreciate that I can deal with my needs online. The website is very user friendly and I don’t receive a bunch of emails I don’t need, and changing my insurance is also very easy to do online and quickly.

3-stars are given as I have not had to make a claim so far. The true measure of an insurance company is how well they respond to claims. My experiences with insurance companies are that they are great until a claim is made. Edit: I have changed my rating from 3 to 1 star. This change is due to the fact that I decided not to renew my auto insurance with Sonnet. The renewal date was set for May 3, 2022. I gave my notice in April 2022. I thought everything was done but on May 2, 2022 I received an email that my policy was cancelled but I owed $235.00. On top of that, the email went on to state that if I did not pay my account would be turned over to a collection agency. I have used several different insurance companies over the years and have not had any problems closing out a policy. Also, I have not had a balance ever being demanded, let alone being threatened with a collection agency.

Sonnet has no policy to reduce premium over a no years being with the company . Hopefully you will consider giving specific discounts for being with the company for a number of years.
