Sonnet | Pet Insurance Review

This is awful experience I am facing with sonnet..on the one hand they are saying that with home insurance if one will add auto insurance can get 20% discount and on the other hand they are giving me excuses. I have international driving license from India and I would like to buy a car so that I can drive here in Canada for 6 months before I upgrade my license from India to Canada. When I asked about this service I have received response that except Alberta no any other province residence are eligible to get insurance on different country driving license. What a 🤣 joke..I will definitely discontinue my home insurance with this company.. ugly company

Awful! I was so excited to sign up with this company for my auto insurance. I would be paying $15 a month less than my previous provider. So I signed up. THEN I wanted to use them for my new home insurance and everything is done online so they won't talk to you unless you go online to do a quote (don't forget to save the quote or else you will have to do it over and over). So I did that and my premium was 3 TIMES what 3 other insurance providers ended up quoting me for more coverage than what my Sonnet quote was for. So, I ended up going with Intact as you can talk to humans and they can actually help you (and they are 3 times less expensive!). I went to go change my address (to my new house) for my auto policy with Sonnet and YET AGAIN, my premium is going up! I finally talked to a human and they said there's nothing they can do because the system generates it. I am moving to a newer and more affluent neighborhood that's 20 blocks south of my old house. BUT I HAVE TO PAY MORE FOR MY AUTO POLICY. I will be canceling my policy and moving to Intact as Sonnet is a joke and there's something wrong with their online algorithms. But they don't care...good luck, Sonnet!

The sonnet customer services was friendly and helpful

I am very happy I switched to Sonnet. I also required some additional help and the live agent really did go the extra mile. Excellent customer service!! Sonnet also gave me an Excellent Rate for insurance. The nice thing is you go online and choose what you want and there is no high pressure selling. The quotes are saved for forty five days. That is impressive. I saved over $650.00 a year by switching, and I also get monthly payments to suit my needs. You do not have to wait a year before you go on monthly payment plan. Seriously just go online and get the quote you want and see how much you can save yourself!!

My experience was a shock to me when I reported that my husband had passed away and they told me I had to re-insure my house I cannot understand that if the original contract was issued with both of our names on the policy. Your rep explained to me that the policy was issued under my husbands name and credit score which made him the primary. I also stated to him that I have taken the same coverage as which we had originally and now at a higher premium that does not make me very happy. I cannot understand why they couldn’t looked at my credit rating which is excellent and just take his name off of the policy which was issued in February 2022 and now my new policy is dated September 2022. My husband and I always suggest to our friends to check out sonnet Insurance and most of them have taken out policies with you from our word of mouth. As it stands right now I am very upset I am trying to keep my monthly expensive low and to know that I am paying more for my home insurance does not make me want to promote your company to anyone else. I will wait for a reply from someone to get back to me over this issue since I have paid my bill in full for the year because I do not want to have automatic withdraws or monthly payments which my husband always did. In closing I do not know if your representative put a note on my file stating that I am not a new customer and referred to our old policy which had both names are on.
