Thrilled with the coverage

I rescued a puppy in Feb 2016. Covering her has been the best thing I have ever done. After caring for a dog with major health issues, I swore, I would insure the next addition to my family. Nationwide has been amazing covering what they said they would and also reviewing and paying claims in a timely manor. I recommend to anyone that adds an animal to the family. Well worth the money.

Incredible Insurance & Service

I want to say THANK YOU to Nationwide/Pet Insurance for all of your help in 2016. Luke is now 11 1/2 years old and is dealing with some arthritis and stomach issues. As you can imagine the costs can be somewhat high. Pet Insurance has been a God-send in offsetting nearly all of the costs associated with Luke's treatments. The claims filing process is easy and efficient. Checking the status online is simple and fast. The turn around in receiving our reimbursements have been phenomenal. I unequivocally recommend ANY pet owner to get your beloved pet insured with this program. It has provided us with peace of mind knowing we can provide the best care possible for Luke.

Wouldn't go without

Have had insurance on 2 of my dogs through this company, after switching from a different one, and I can honestly say that this is the BEST. Customer service is amazing, the turn around time is prompt and its affordable! The coverage is amazing.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
